Mitchell K. Aaron has been a practicing litigator for over 30 years. Mitch joined the firm in 2005 after 17 years at the firm of Kreinik Aaron & Gersh, LLP, where he was a founding partner and served as head of the litigation department. He began his legal career in 1982 as a litigation associate at the prestigious New York City law firm, Phillips, Nizer, Benjamin, Krim & Ballon.
As a result of the success and growth of Torgan Cooper + Aaron, Mr. Aaron now serves as the firm’s managing attorney and oversees the firm’s day-to-day activities, as well as all of the firm’s cases from inception to the time of trial, including pre-trial, trial and appellate matters. His extensive litigation experience in State and Federal courts both at the trial and appellate levels prepared him well for his current position overseeing all aspects of the firm’s cases.
Mitch’s knowledge of the law, meticulous preparation of each and every matter, and his considered approach invariably lead to successful resolutions for his clients. His rapport with the firm’s clients is based on a genuine concern for the clients and their families, his 24/7 accessibility and responsiveness to their questions and concerns, and his desire for an expeditious outcome.
The settlements Mitch has obtained for his clients and his continuing, personal relationships with them long after cases are resolved, explains why so many of the firm’s clients have recommended their friends and family members to Torgan Cooper + Aaron.
Mr. Aaron is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and has been elected to Super Lawyers, Top Attorneys in the New York Metro Area, and the Nation’s Top One Percent.
Mr. Aaron is a 1977 graduate of SUNY at Binghamton and a 1982 graduate of Fordham University School of Law.
